COVID-19 Re-Opening with New Patient Guidelines

Re-Opening by Appointment Only:

As of April 27, 2020, our office will re-open to patients by appointment only.

New CDC and OSHA guidelines continue to stress the importance of social distancing and when possible to wear appropriate PPE. As healthcare providers, it is important that we continue to do our part to slow the spread of the Coronavirus. To that end, we have thoughtfully considered how to best protect our patients and staff, yet still provide the type of service you have come to expect from our office.  It may be different than before, but we believe these changes will allow us to provide exceptional care in a safe environment.

Please read these new policies so you can help us do our part:

Only patients with appointments will be allowed in the office.

Patients who are minors will be allowed one parent or guardian.

Appointments must be made to see an optician for repairs, adjustments, and eyewear selection.

Patients will be greeted at the door before entering the office:

  • General health questions will be asked
  • Temperature will be taken
  • Patients will be required to wear a mask
  • Patients will be asked to use provided hand sanitizer before entering the office

All intake paperwork will be sent to you via email or text message. We will require that you fill that out online before your appointment.

You will be called the day before your appointment, by our office, to review your history. That way we are prepared to provide timely and complete care during your visit.

Only one of our doctors will be seeing patients at any given time. This reduced schedule may make it difficult to make in person follow up appointments or emergency appointments.  Therefore, we will be implementing more telemedicine visits to provide you care in a timely fashion.

We will still be doing curbside pick-ups for trial contacts and eyeglasses.

Contact lens orders will be mailed to you directly.

Patients may browse many of our frame options online prior to their appointment.  Those frames will be available to try on at their appointment.
